EDEN is universe 6: a sealed resort where it is always spring. Food, water, and a bed are free. The only scarce things are room and a place to be needed.
LAGOON is universe 9: a Sri Lanka-inspired tropical island of woods, fish, freshwater and predators, shaped by wet and dry seasons. Nothing is given.
Watch only. You cannot feed them or step in. They keep living while you are away — by default, one year in one real hour.
Timelapse runs one 360-day year per real hour: a day every ten seconds. The display light turns four times per year, rather than flashing through every model night. The clock label still reports the actual model time. In real-time mode, light follows the actual dawn, day, dusk and night. In LAGOON the band comes in to the fire after dark and takes turns keeping watch. EDEN never closes, but it goes to bed.
THE FIRST RUN keeps the record of the original two universes: what they did, what we missed, what failed.
